Description:
Even though she’s never met me, she’s been the bane of my existence, having me run around chasing my tail for months, but finally, I’ve found her. I knew I would, and she should have known it as well. It was only a matter of time.
Either she was desperate or stupid to come onto our island and break our laws – although I suspect it is the former. This makes me wonder, what would drive her to suck recklessness. What would drive her to risk the wrath of the Horsemen?
There is one thing for certain, however, I’m going to kill her. The fact that she’s beautiful and watching her in action gets me hard is irrelevant. But I plan on getting a little slice of satisfaction out of her first.

“When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, ‘Come’. I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”

Chapter 1
Gabriella
It’s amazing how quickly someone can compromise their morals under the right circumstances. Up until the past couple of months, I made a conscious effort to be a good person and had very clear lines in my mind of right and wrong. But that had all changed and now I was a person that I hated and sure as hell didn’t want to be.
Yet, I was.
But I had no choice in the matter. When it came down to it if the choice was my morality or the lives of the people I love, well then, my soul would be the loser in the situation each and every time. I had to protect the little bit of family I had left.
The first few times doing this my nerves had been shot. My pulse had raced so quickly that I’d nearly convinced myself that I was having a heart attack. But each time I did it, it got easier. I’d heard the rumors about the people who owned and ruled this island. Mob, cartel, hired assassins, the baddest of the bad. This was a death mission the moment I took it, but perhaps there would be a way out of it. As long as I remained hopeful, I could continue on, there had to be a way.
“Oh wow! Tiffany! How have you been?” A man who I’d never seen or spoken to before approached me. He hesitated to await the signal. I shoot him a wide smile and nod pretending to be excited to see him. The acting was like second nature to me now, to the point where I wondered if I was even myself anymore. My drama coach would be so proud – you know, if I wasn’t using my talents for something illegal.
“Wow! I haven’t seen you since high school.”
He closed the distance between us and gave me a hug, passing me off a wad of cash. I gave the money clutched tightly in my hand a glance and then bent down to stuff it into my boot pocket, while grabbing the product. I didn’t need to count it. They knew better than to short-change the Santiago cartel. Straightening, I gave him another hug tucking the product into his pants pocket grateful that this one didn’t have a hard-on. A shocking amount of men would get hard with my hand in their pocket – it was fucking disgusting, although, I wondered if it had less to do with me and more to do with the fact they were getting what their addiction craved.
We made chit-chat for show even though I had no interest in talking, while I scanned the crowd for any signs that someone may be watching us. The one-way mirrors at the back of the club concerned me. Anyone could be watching me. They could be watching my every move right now and I wouldn’t be the wiser. I could only hope that I blended in and careful enough that they’d never notice me.
I wasn’t even entirely sure who they were; island police, security, the Horsemen themselves. It was hard to tell for sure who would eventually piece together what was going on and be my demise.
The island had strict policies on drugs. They produced their own non-addictive party drugs here and all guests, regardless of who you were, you were subject to a very thorough search to ensure no contraband was coming to the island. This complete banning of outside drugs made my boss’s product worth multiple times more than it would be worth back in the United States. While the island’s drugs were the only drugs approved for use on the island, the rich pricks who frequented this island and were addicted to a particula
r substance had no issues paying whatever was necessary to secure their drug of choice.
For the millionth time since the Santiago cartel burst into my house looking for my loser ex-fiancé who had already high-tailed it out of town with their money, I prayed that this would soon be coming to an end. Although, I knew it wouldn’t. Not for a very long time yet. How could someone be engaged to a man and not know he was associated with people like the cartel? He’d had me completely fooled and I was paying the price right now, so my family wouldn’t have to. The cartel didn’t give a shit I had no knowledge of his dealings, they just wanted their money. Since I didn’t have their money, they were taking it out in trade.
After a few more minutes of idle chit-chat the buyer sauntered off into the crowd and back to his group with their entertainment for the night.
It wasn’t just my getting caught that I feared, but what if one of the buyers got caught and squealed like a stuffed pig to save their hide? I didn’t trust any of these junkies for a second. But again, it all came down to the fact that I simply had no choice in the matter, it’s not like I could throw myself onto the mercy of the Horsemen with the hope they’d take pity on me and save me and my family. I’d heard the rumors and stories associated with them – they were the furthest thing from merciful you could get.
So, I was on my own, like it or not paying for the sins of a bastard that cared so little for me he took off and let me take the fall. How could I ever love or trust again after that betrayal I’d never know? As much as I grew up longing for a family of my own and kids, when it came right down to it, who in their right mind would bring a child into this fucked up world anyhow?
“Rosetta! Is that you?” A female voice asked from behind me.
Aww, fuck. Another one. The name they’d call me connected with the type of drug that they wanted. Rosetta was code for Cocaine. The customer who had called me Tiffany was looking for heroin. I also peddled Special K and LSD.
Turning around, I smiled at the tall, slender woman before me. Clearly, she was a model. Even in the dim lighting, I recognized the sharp cheekbones and pouty lips of Ulyana Aksamit. Being an aspiring actress and commercial model myself, under normal circumstances I’d be awestruck, but instead, I was just disappointed.
Another of my idols. Just another junkie. Another disappointment.
My admiration turned to pity for the stunning woman before me, she was going to end up being just another headline – another statistic. So sad that could be the ultimate fate of a woman so beautiful.
We made the exchange as seamlessly as the previous one and the one before it. An average night would see that I had a dozen or so transactions equalling tens of thousands of dollars. It wasn’t huge business for the cartel in the grand scheme of things, but it was a matter of continuing to supply their rich and powerful clients even when they were in a country where their drug of choice was strictly prohibited.
I hated who I’d become. A fucking disgusting drug dealer, I could at least take solace in the fact that I was dealing to adults who were already neck deep into the stuff and who could easily afford even the best quality I had to offer without worry that it would bankrupt them or mean there wasn’t food on the table for their kids.
“Gabriella! I thought you said you weren’t coming out tonight.”
Oh fuck and double fuck. Beth.
I did my best to not make friends with my neighbors and co-workers. In fact, I doubted many of my neighbors could pick me out of a line-up, but I seemed to have a hard time shaking, Beth’s attempts at friendship. Being the concierge at the hotel, it was her business to make sure she knew everyone she possibly could and kept up on all island current events. As much as I tried to avoid her, she seemed hellbent on being friends with me and securing herself a spot in my life.
She had dozens of friends, why she was insistent on befriending me despite my off-putting attitude, was baffling. Maybe she saw me as a charity case – someone in desperate need of a friend. While she wouldn’t be wrong there, I couldn’t afford the luxury of friends on the island. Friends and ties would only complicate things and make it harder for me to do my job at the club on the weekends.
Turning to face her, I put on my best happy to see you smile that one would reserve for their closest friends. “Hey Beth!” Beth was a petite redhead, several inches shorter than my 5’6. What she lacked in height she made up for in personality. “It’s so good to see you. I wasn’t planning on coming. I just felt a little restless and needed to get out.”
She gave me a gentle swat on the shoulder. “You should have called me. Are you here by yourself? Are you on the prowl?”
Laughing, I shook my head. It was impossible to not be drawn in by her spunky attitude. “No, not on the prowl. After my last man, I’m fine being single for a while.”
“I don’t know about that. You know what they say, the best way to get over a guy is to get under a new one.”
“No truer words could be spoken, but I’m still just not up for it.”
“Excuse me.” A soft tap on my shoulder shifted my attention from Beth to a tall, thin man who had appeared at my side. Leaning into me, his mouth inches from my ear, he asked “You’re Rosetta, aren’t you?”
Well, shit. With the music pulsing throughout the place, there was no chance that Beth would have heard the name he’d called me.
Now came the tricky part, trying to make the transaction under the watchful eyes of Beth. Luckily, I’d become an old pro at this over the past couple of months.
Chapter 2
Isaac
I was confident in my plan. The other men who ran the island and made up our foursome may not be as confident as I was, however. I already knew what they were going to say – or at least suspected. They were always so serious and unimaginative when it came to getting things done. I, on the other hand, preferred to think outside the box. And considering how much grief this girl had given me over the months I intended to get some enjoyment out of her before we got down to business.
Joining the others who were already seated in Jacob’s office, I gave them all a nod before taking a seat next to Asher. “Evening gentlemen.”
While we were all equal partners with Jacob being the appointed head of our island. He leaned forward bracing his elbows onto his desk and asked, “What’s this brilliant plan that you have been putting together, Isaac?”
I put a hand up, before speaking. “Well, how I see it, in this situation we’re going to catch a lot more flies with honey than vinegar so I’m going to suggest something that may seem crazy at first, but I’m confident it will work.”
And be a fuckload of fun in the process, although I left that part out. My dick jerked in my pants at the thought of the fun I’d have with her lush body when my plan all panned out. What made me obsessed with the little blonde housekeeper was a mystery to me, I just knew that I wouldn’t be satisfied until I felt her warm pussy inviting me in while she screamed out my name.
“Well,” Elijah who was sitting on the other side of Asher prompted. “What is it?”
“She’s on the island because she got herself a job as a maid at one of the hotels. I’ve looked through her history and she’s squeaky clean which makes me believe that there’s more at play here than her just trying to make some quick money. If we interrogate her like we normally would, I don’t think she could handle it. I think she’d just tell us what we wanted to hear, so we should handle this with a little more tact.”
Jacob’s eyes narrowed at me. “This isn’t another of your games is it, Isaac? We need this to be dealt with, we can’t have our enemies seeing us and this island as a mark. This has gone on long enough.”
Maybe it was a bit of a game, but why can’t I have a little fun while doing a job? The men in the room with me could use having a little fun once and a while. All work and no play made for a boring set of individuals.
“I’m going to go incognito and work at the hotel that she’s working at. I’ll woo her and all her secrets w
ill be putty in my hands. Then we kill her.”
All eyes in the room stared at me. They thought I’d lost my mind or was joking. I could see it in each and every one of their eyes. Sure, it was an outlandish idea, but it could work and if in the process I could relieve the ache in my dick that I got each time I saw her in action – then so be it.
It was Elijah who finally spoke. “Let me get this straight. One of the most powerful men in the world, a Horsemen. One of the owners of the island, wants to become… What? A bellboy?”
The room exploded with laughter.
“I’d use a new name. No one would ever suspect it.” Despite being part of the horsemen, when wearing regular clothing the vast majority of people never recognized me, not without the signature designer suits and the things that went with them. Being head of the police and security force I tended to keep a low profile. Once I shaved my beard, I’d be unrecognizable.
The laughter immediately stopped.
“You’re serious?” Asher’s dark eyes peered into mine. “You want to be some average Joe and work at the hotel taking shit off pompous pricks?”
“Why not? I could see how the hotel is functioning from the inside while getting to know the mark. We need to ensure our standards are being upkept and you all know that the moment management of our businesses get a hint that we’re coming for an inspection they’re on their best behavior. Maybe there’s things I could find out beyond what we know.”
“And who runs the security and police force in this little absence of yours?” Asher cocked a brow at me, awaiting my response.
